Workflow Without Rose-Colored Glasses: Statuses, Rollbacks, and Endless Rework
In PDP, we built a workflow that behaves like a real project: statuses roll back, issues get reassigned, deadlines move, and the rework cycle can repeat as many times as needed.

In PDP, we built a workflow that behaves like a real project, not an idealized diagram from a presentation. A status here can roll back, an issue can be reassigned, and a deadline can move. Yes, just like in real life, when something is “already approved” and then suddenly “let’s take another look” 🙂
If the acceptance status changes from approved back to under review, the property also rolls back to its previous status. On top of that, we built the full rework loop: inspection → defects → fix → reinspection → defects again.
There can be any number of iterations. The history is complete: who rolled everything back, when, and why. In an era when everyone is hyping AI automation, the real magic is still making sure the workflow doesn’t break because of the human factor. That’s exactly what we ran into — and we built a system that keeps that chaos under control.
