VoteBoard: 4 Voting Methods Without Excel Magic
In a single meeting, different questions can have different approval rules — and we built that into automated counting in VoteBoard. We supported 4 methods and multiple voting formats.

In a single meeting, different questions can have different approval rules — and we built that into automated counting in VoteBoard. We supported 4 methods right away: simple majority (>50%), absolute majority (>66%), qualified majority (>75%), and unanimity (100%).
On top of that, each question can be open or secret. The formats are not limited to the classic For/Against/Abstain setup — they also include custom options, such as selecting from candidates. We also added restricted voting for conflict-of-interest cases, so the system does not let someone “vote for themselves.”
In short, we removed manual recounting, ambiguous interpretations, and that familiar moment when everyone stares at a spreadsheet like it’s an oracle. Given the broader shift toward digital governance and compliance, this is pretty much a must-have.
