Three-rate meters without UX pain
In PDP Mobile, we added reading input for three-rate electricity meters: T1, T2, and T3. The form is now dynamic, and UX hints help avoid extra fields and confusion.

In PDP Mobile, we added reading input for three-rate electricity meters: T1, T2, T3 — peak, mid-peak, and night.
It sounds simple, but in practice this is one of those cases where the user opens the screen and thinks: “What goes where?” We ran into that and added UX hints directly in the app: we explain what the tariff zones are, show the required fields, and calculate everything for each zone separately.
On top of that, the form became dynamic: switch the meter type — single-rate / two-rate / three-rate — and the screen adjusts right away. No extra fields and no “guess the developer’s logic.”
Against the backdrop of the ongoing trend toward conscious consumption and growing interest in saving money, this is a real must-have: the night tariff can save up to 30%. Which means good UX here is almost a financial hack.
