How we automated manager scheduling for client inspections
In PDP, we built a slot-based booking system from 8:00 to 22:00, added work schedules tied to specific locations, and added Excel export. For repeat inspections, the schedule resets automatically.

In PDP, we built a slot-based booking system from 8:00 to 22:00 — no more endless “so who’s actually available?”. We added work schedules tied to specific locations so managers don’t get pulled between sites, and we added Excel export — yes, good old Excel is still doing better than many AI startups 😅
The interesting part is the repeat-inspection logic. If a client comes back, the system automatically resets the manager’s schedule and sends repeat invitations. No manual “oops, forgot to move it”.
We also introduced client categorization: VIP and employee affect how a manager is assigned. In other words, distribution is no longer “whatever works out”, but based on business rules.
In practice, we removed the chaos from inspections and turned it into a normal workflow. In an era where everyone is talking about AI agents, sometimes the real productivity boost is just a schedule that doesn’t ruin people’s day.
