When someone other than the owner comes to the inspection
We added the AttorneyRepresentative case to PDP and PDP Mobile for situations where the client cannot attend the inspection. We tied it to move-in, access rights, and logging the representative’s actions.

In PDP and PDP Mobile, we added AttorneyRepresentative — a case for situations where the client physically cannot attend the inspection. Classic real life: an elderly owner grants a power of attorney to a relative, and from that point on, they take part in the process.
But this is not just “swap the user and move on” — it has legal significance. We tied it to the move-in process and access rights: who can participate in the inspection, who confirms the actions, and who has what authority.
The most important part is logging. All actions performed by the representative are recorded with the power of attorney referenced. In other words, the system clearly shows what was done not by the client themselves, but by their representative, and on what basis.
In an era where a digital trail and compliance are no longer an “option” but the baseline, cases like this are not edge cases — they are real production life. We built this into the process carefully so that the business stays calm and the lawyers don’t feel the urge to reach for valerian ☕️
