How we built the full resident lifecycle at PDP Mobile — without losing history
We modeled the resident lifecycle in a single flow: invitation, move-in, living there, move-out, and restoration. No paperwork, no lost history, with support for roles, statuses, and multi-property ownership.

In a single flow, we modeled everything as it happens in real life — just without the paperwork and the “wait, where’s the power of attorney?” part: invitation → move-in → living there → move-out → restoration.
What we accounted for:
- resident statuses:
invited,residing,moved out - 3 roles:
owner, tenant, authorized representative - multi-property ownership: one owner can own apartments in multiple residential complexes at the same time
The most important case is restoring a moved-out resident. We built a separate restoration endpoint that doesn’t just “bring the person back” — it restores their history, links to meters, and access passes. In other words, there’s no need to rebuild the resident’s digital life from scratch in pieces — come on, it’s 2026, AI is already doing code review 🙂
In practice, we covered a legally sensitive scenario in a way that lets the system be trusted both for standard rentals and for more complex cases involving delegated rights.
