PDP: How We Fit 15 Room Types into One Clear Hierarchy
In the PDP project, we built out the full real-estate structure without hacks or magic: Project (district) → Building → Section → Floor → Unit. We also accounted for 15 room types and different business logic for each.

It sounds simple until 15 room types show up: apartments, studios, parking spaces, offices, storage rooms, warehouses, retail spaces, and more. That’s where real life starts: each type affects the business logic differently. For example, we send satisfaction surveys only to apartment and office owners; parking spaces are excluded, sorry 🚗
At scale, this is no longer a “quick spreadsheet” job, but a serious model: 5 buildings × 25 floors × 4 sections × 8 apartments = 4000 units. And all of it has to be consistent, extensible, and free of surprises in production.
Now that proptech is moving toward data-driven solutions, models like this are already table stakes, not a nice-to-have.
