How we connected MedConnect to EGISZ for electronic prescriptions
At MedConnect, we implemented an integration with EGISZ: electronic prescriptions now go into the state system and are signed with the doctor’s qualified electronic signature (QES). For a pharmacy, this is already a document with legal force.

The trickiest part is telemedicine and the law. Under the law, you can’t make an initial diagnosis remotely, so our AI is not “Dr. House on a budget,” but a careful assistant: it formulates recommendations strictly within what’s allowed.
It feels like integrating not just an API, but an API + regulatory requirements + common sense all at once 😅 Against the backdrop of all the hype around AI in medtech, it’s especially important to remember: in production, what matters is not model magic, but compliance and patient safety.
Bottom line: less routine for doctors, more convenience for patients, and a valid prescription for pharmacies with no gray areas.
