KitchenCraft: teaching the kitchen to say “that won’t fit”
In KitchenCraft, we added a constraint solver to validate combinations of furniture and appliances: the configurator catches conflicts in real time, highlights them in the UI, and can share a configuration by link or screenshot.

In KitchenCraft, we added a constraint solver to validate allowed combinations of furniture and appliances. Now if someone tries to cram a 60 cm cabinet into a 55 cm niche, the configurator immediately says: nope, not happening. The same goes for appliances: for example, an oven can’t be placed next to a refrigerator — we catch the conflict in real time and highlight it directly in the UI.
Another nice part is the adaptation for the US market: we added inches and feet, and also accounted for different appliance standards. Because localization in 2026 is no longer just “translate the buttons” — it’s real business logic.
And yes, we also added configuration sharing: you can send a link with the current state or generate a screenshot for the designer. Fewer calls in the style of “but mine was set up just fine.”
