At PDP Mobile, we built a camera map for the admin panel. Now the operator doesn’t have to scroll through a list — they can immediately see where each camera is installed and which angle is needed at the moment of an incident.
In PDP Mobile, we built a camera map for the building in the admin panel. Now the operator doesn’t have to scroll through an endless list — they can immediately see where each camera is installed and which angle is needed at the moment of an incident.
What’s inside:
• a visual map with camera markers • quick search for the camera closest to an incident request • HLS streaming in real time directly in the panel • instant situation assessment without going on site
In practice, it’s the UX everyone expects in 2025: less “I’ll check and get back to you,” more data here and now. Especially when every minute matters, and the operator doesn’t want to play the “find the right entrance” quest.
We ran into the usual production reality: it’s not enough to show video — you need context: location + access to the stream + fast response time. In the end, we got a tool that genuinely saves time and reduces stress for the team.
