How We Brought Google Docs Vibes to the Corporate Wiki
We added real-time editing to WikiMind with ProseMirror + Yjs + y-websocket. Now several people can edit a page at the same time, see each other’s cursors and names — without the “who locked the document again?” mode.

In WikiMind, we added real-time editing with ProseMirror + Yjs + y-websocket. Now several people can edit a page at the same time, see each other’s cursors and names — without the “who locked the document again?” mode.
Under the hood, we store the document’s binary state in PostgreSQL, and cut automatic revisions every 5 minutes. If a colleague goes offline, that’s fine: when they come back, changes are merged without conflicts via CRDT. Yes, we also covered the classic “train, tunnel, Wi‑Fi died, edits stayed” scenario.
We also added Local Draft Recovery: if the connection drops, unsaved changes are restored. In the era of distributed teams and AI-first tools, this is no longer a feature — it’s a must-have.
Long story short: less pain, more real-time collaboration.
