When “it just pinched” is no longer a bug, but a critical scenario
At MedConnect, we implemented an emergency protocol for symptoms in the “don’t wait, act now” category — for example, if a patient develops chest pain during an online consultation.

In MedConnect, we implemented an emergency protocol for symptoms in the “don’t wait, act now” category — for example, if a patient develops chest pain during an online consultation.
What we built:
• a one-tap ambulance call button; • automatic transfer of the patient’s geolocation; • automatic saving of the consultation context, so the crew gets not “well, something hurt there” but a proper picture; • integration with pharmacies — so you can immediately check whether emergency medications are available nearby.
In practice, we turned a video consultation from “a call with risks” into a working emergency flow. In an era when digital health and AI triage are hyped everywhere, what matters more to us is not the hype, but that in a critical moment the system doesn’t waste a second.
This is one of those cases where UX = literally the speed of care.
