Electronic Prescriptions That Actually Carry Legal Weight
In MedConnect, we implemented electronic prescriptions with the doctor’s qualified electronic signature and integration with the national health information system so the documents are legally valid and make it into the registry according to the rules.

In MedConnect, we implemented electronic prescriptions with the doctor’s qualified electronic signature — not a “PDF that looks like a prescription,” but a document that a pharmacy can accept as legally valid. We also added integration with the national health information system (ЕГИСЗ) so prescriptions are entered into the registry properly, instead of “please send it again, it didn’t open on our side” 🙃
The most important part is the legal restrictions on telemedicine. You can’t make a primary diagnosis remotely, so our AI doesn’t play doctor: it carefully formulates recommendations without freelancing. And only a doctor can issue a prescription, and only after a full consultation.
Right now, when AI in healthtech is hyped everywhere, it’s especially important not to confuse “looks smart” with complies with the law. That’s exactly what we’re about — and about shipping software that lives in the real world.
