A client portal without the “oops, I can see someone else’s data” moment
At PDP, we built a client portal for apartment buyers: requests, satisfaction surveys, FAQ, and documents — all in one place. The main challenge was not the UI, but access control.

At PDP, we built a client portal for apartment buyers: requests, satisfaction surveys, FAQ, and documents — all in one place. But the main challenge was not the UI, it was access control.
Each buyer sees only their own data. No surprises like “a neighbor accidentally opened your acceptance certificate.” We applied the same pattern in WikiMind for contractors: the GUEST role sees only what has been explicitly shared with it.
In practice, we follow the principle of least privilege everywhere: if access is not needed for the task, it does not exist. In 2025, when privacy and data isolation are no longer a “nice to have” but the baseline, this is a must.
From experience: access rights are like office keys. If you hand someone the whole keychain at once, sooner or later someone will open the wrong door 😅
So we build portals that are not just convenient, but secure by default.
