How to Keep Corporate Data Out of ChatGPT
At WikiMind, we built protection against accidentally sending sensitive information to external ChatGPT: a mandatory confidentiality disclaimer and a secure corporate AI assistant.

Right now, AI is surrounded by the kind of hype that says “fine, let’s move all support into an LLM,” but in practice businesses still have the same old fear: someone will casually paste part of an internal database, a contract, or customer data into external ChatGPT. We ran into this at WikiMind and built a simple but important safeguard.
On the first launch of ChatGPT mode, we show a mandatory confidentiality disclaimer. Until the user accepts the rules, they can’t go any further. This is a layer of compliance protection that reduces the risk of accidentally sending sensitive information to an external LLM.
And so colleagues don’t feel like they’re stuck without coffee and without AI, we provided a secure alternative — a corporate AI assistant built on our own knowledge base. It answers work-related questions, but the data never leaves the company perimeter.
Sometimes the best AI feature is not “smarter,” but “nothing leaked anywhere.”
