Time zones: when Moscow isn’t the center of the universe
We closed an old but constant pain point — time zones across three projects at once: PDP, MedConnect, and VoteBoard. We accounted for differences between regions and tied schedules to the right time zones.

We just closed an old but always-burning pain point: time zones across three projects at once — PDP, MedConnect, and VoteBoard.
In PDP, construction sites are spread from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, while the schedule lives on Moscow time. Sounds simple enough. And then someone’s shift “suddenly” starts at the wrong time — and hello, production.
In MedConnect, it gets even more interesting: the doctor is in Moscow, the patient is in Vladivostok, and the consultation slot has to work for both. Otherwise, it’s no longer telemedicine, it’s an attention-to-detail challenge.
In VoteBoard, we were setting up windows for remote voting by directors from different regions. Here, a time mistake doesn’t just give you a bug — it’s almost a corporate drama.
We accounted for the differences between regions, fixed the business logic for each scenario, and tied schedules to the right time zones. In the era of distributed teams, remote-first, and services built for the whole country, this is no longer an edge case — it’s the baseline.
