How We Built a Secure Boundary for AeroPort
When the IT world is talking about zero-trust and supply chain security, we had our own challenge: build a separate security boundary for airport services with stronger isolation and encryption.

When the IT world is talking about zero-trust and supply chain security, we had our own challenge: build an isolated security boundary for airport services with stronger isolation and encryption.
This wasn’t the kind of project where you can “ship to prod quickly and see what happens.” We have 20+ microfrontends, and each one goes through a security review before deployment. Yes, every single one — because in an airport environment, the cost of a mistake is anything but a joke.
Another challenge was the aviation standards: ARINC 753 and IATA Type B. They define strict rules for processing and storing data about flights, passenger traffic, and baggage. So this is not about “a simple form and a table,” but about infrastructure where security has to work like clockwork.
The result: we built a boundary where isolation is not just for show, and security review became part of the normal development process.
